DescriptionA man wearing overalls, a woman, a girl and two boys in front of two-story house with a one and a half story gabled addition at the side. The older boy holds a horse. The younger boy, who is barefoot, holds either a second horse or a mule, blurred from movement. An ox team stands in front of a stone wall. A picket fence encloses a garden, probably a vegetable garden. The large tree in the front yard appears to be a maple.
