DescriptionView of the town of Bristol. A "Rye Field" with "Apple" trees beyond it occupies the crest of the hill in the foreground. Immediately behind the field of trees is the Methodist Church. Numerous buildings occupy the slope of the hill and a second hill to the right; the locations of the "Episcopal" and "Congregational" Churches are indistinct. A road leads up the hill and additional fields are on either side. A steep wooded hill is at the left. A detail of a substantial house is above the main drawing
