DescriptionView looking south from Travelers Tower during flood of 1936, showing the Connecticut River and flooding along the waterfront in Hartford and East Hartford. Prominent structures include the Dutch Point and South Meadow Stations of the Hartford Electric Light Company and the Colt Fire Arms Company. The mouth of the Park River is adjacent to the Dutch Point Station, but is not discernible since this area is entirely under water.
