DescriptionFormal portraits of brides and other members of their wedding parties. The brides short dresses and veils with long trains, and hold large bouquets of flowers with streamers attached. In two photographs the brides pose with their grooms. In another, bridesmaids and groomsmen sit and stand around the couple. All of the men wear white tie; the women hold bouquets or wear floral corsages.
NotesSubject Note: Three different brides appear in the four photographs. It is possible that one or more of them are members of the Gilmore family of New Haven, possibly Mae Gilmore, the wife of Edward Gilmore. (Finlay 3/21/2014)
