DescriptionMost photographs were taken during family vacations in Tucson, Tumacacori, Tombstone, the Pima Indian Reservation, and other sites in Arizona, Quebec and the Laurentian Mountains, Swanton, Vermont, and Charlestown, New Hampshire. Also includes views of the Flood of 1936 in Hartford and the Hurricane of 1938 in Hartford and Windsor, and of family homes at 30 Cornell Road and 60 Love Lane, Hartford, and 20 Glenbrook Road and Thompson Road, West Hartford. Family members appearing in photographs include Matthew Swift, Matthew H. Swift, Matthew Robert Swift, David Swift, Rose-Marie Swift, Marion K. Swift, Edith Anne Swift, Jane Elizabeth Swift, John K. Swift, and others. Two photographs show Donald Swift and a cougar that he shot in Arizona. Many photographs are of children and several photographs are of brides and grooms.
