DescriptionComplex of industrial buildings occupies both sides of railroad tracks. Some buildings have smokestacks, chimneys, and clerestory windows. Some have quoins at the corners. Two steam locomotives draw passenger trains on the tracks. Separate trains of boxcars are nearby. A railroad crossing gate is closed to allow the passage of one of the trains. Horse-drawn vehicles are on the streets. Brick walls line the tracks and both sides of the Park River, which is visible at the left. Trees grow on grassy lawns.
