DescriptionWoman's white cotton nightgown, constructed with a yoke. The front and back panels of the nightgown are stitched smoothly to the yoke, which is trimmed with a gathered edging of eyelet embroidery. The nightgown opens the entire length of the center front, and fastens with fourteen white glass buttons. The opening in the area of the yoke is flanked with pintucks; the lower area of the nightgown opening is flanked with four large tucks. The neckline is high and round. The narrow, rounded, turn-down collar is edged with gathered eyelet embroidery. The long sleeves are set smoothly into the armscye and are gathered into the two-inch cuff at the wrist. The cuff is edged with eyelet.
