DescriptionDoll's coat of black silk, with a turn-down collar trimmed with ecru machine-stitched eyelet lace. The coat closes along the proper left side of the front with black ribbed silk-covered buttons and loops. The loops are mounted under matching non-functioning buttons, so that the coat has an off-center double-breasted look. Additionally, a black metal hook and thread eye fasten the coat at the neck. The sleeves are long and are gathered at the top of the shoulder and at the back of the wrist. The wrist openings are trimmed with eyelet lace like the collar. The coat is lined with blue/red shot silk/cotton fabric.
