The leather-covered case is embossed with a bouquet of flowers, including a rose, in a nonpareil panel surrounded by a gold border. The same design appears on the front and back of the case. The inner borders of the case are printed with the same gold design.
The tan velvet pad is embossed with a central design of stylized leaves surrounded by a border of similar leaves and tendrils.
The brass mat in embossed with decorative floral motifs at the corners; a beaded border surrounds the central oval opening.
