DescriptionRed umbrella from Travelers Insurance Company, 1960s. Umbrella belonged to donor's father, Edward J. Shopes, who worked at Brown Thompson & Co. White Travelers logo on the umbrella, but is faded.
NotesRelated Note: The original owner worked at Brown Thomson in Hartford, taking the bus from New Britain every day. The stop let off in front of the Travelers Insurance building, so it is likely he obtained this umbrella from an employee of Travelers. Status
