DescriptionFrame house with a stone foundation and two brick chimneys painted in contrasting colors. Stone steps lead to the doorways. Stones frame the entrance to a cellar at the left. A hitching post is nearby. A picket fence with granite gateposts is at the left and right. A flagstone walk crosses the lawn. The house is surrounded by young trees.
NotesDate Note: The house was destroyed by fire in 1894. However, the painting could be based on a photograph and therefore could be later than 1894.
