DescriptionA frame house with two chimneys and a back ell is in a grassy valley. A second building, apparently a barn, is nearby. Trees are at the left. Additional trees, in the middle distance, are reflected in the water of the cove, which opens out to the river at the left. High hills beyond the river are divided into farm fields.
