DescriptionQuilt top is constructed of six cotton squares printed with commemorative scenes of the 1876 Centennial International Exposition in Philadelphia. Two feature an eagle and the Memorial Hall, two feature the horticultural hall, one features the arms of all nations, and the last features national flags. Extra fabric is added with two different centennial prints in brown and white featuring liberty bells and liberty caps. The back of the quilt is also pieced with the flag and arms prints and a red, white, and blue stripped printed cotton. The quilt is tied with red, white, and blue yarn.
