DescriptionThree-quarter-length standing portrait of a young man in military uniform. The insignia "U.S." is on his cap and belt buckle. His hand rests on his sword hilt, and he wears a ring on his finger. He has a mustache. A small shield-shaped medal is pinned to his jacket.
