DescriptionBlack, plush man's hat in a Tyrolean style, with an indented crown and narrow, up-turned brim. The crown is surrounded at the base by three black silk-like cords. Pinned on one side of the crown are two pins: one in a shield shape, enamelled in black and white around a design of a griffin and a knight's helmet; the other is a silver tube with an applied edelweiss design. Inserted in the tube is a bunch of brown bristles and red and black feathers. The hat is lined in golden orange acetate; the top of the crown is protected by a layer of clear plastic. A black leather sweat band lines the base of the crown.
