DescriptionHalf-length portrait of a young girl. She is seated in a chair and holds two puppies in her arms. An adult dog, apparently a cocker spaniel, is seated in her lap.
NotesDate Note: Since George Whiting died in 1863, the print must have been originally issued prior to that date. However, Golden, Sammons & Co. replaced Golden & Sammons in 1867, so that company's imprint must have been added later, possibly using a rubber stamp. (Finlay 9/19/2006)
