Willington Glass Company was a glass works organized as a result of the shortage of bottles during the War of 1812. With the exception of figured flasks, their early products were similar to glass produced in other Connecticut glasshouses, including demijohns, carboys, utility bottles and jars, snuff bottles, and blacking bottles. The firm marketed its products in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York State, and Pennsylvania.
