Oscar Ely

Oscar Ely was born on May 3, 1817. He married Rebecca Pratt, and their daughters were Frances Ely (1846-1853) and Emma Florence Ely (later Palmer) (1853–1932). Ely reported his occupation in the 1850 to 1880 censuses as a carpenter, farmer, machinist in a factor, and carpenter. Ely died on January 22, 1899.
