Cornelia Alice Palmer1913 - 1995
Cornelia Alice Palmer was born on February 2, 1913 in Winsted, Connecticut, the second of two daughters born to Alison Ely and Louise (Potter) Palmer. Her sister was Florence (1908-2005). Alison Palmer worked at the Winsted Silk Company until 1926 or 1927, when he moved the family to Elgin, Illinois. The family retained their summer home in Winsted, which they visited throughout the years.
Cornelia graduated from Vassar in 1935. According to her obituary, she worked as an assistant manager in a gift and book store in Elgin, IL. She died on April 14, 1995 in St. Petersburg, FL.
