Ethel Hall Bjerkoe

Ethel Mira Hall was born on 15 July 1891 in Portland, Maine. In 1924, she married John Arthur Bjerkoe (1893-1967). They lived in Essex, Connecticut. Ethel was president of the Connecticut State Federation of Women's Clubs from 1955-1957, president of the Essex Women's Club from 1948-1966 and 1970-1971, and president of the Essex Historical Society from 1962-1965. She died on 25 May 1978 in Portland, Maine.
