Marie Christine Battalino

Marie Christine Battalino was born on 3 July 1930 in Hartford, Connecticut. She was the daughter of former World's Featherweight Boxing Champion (1929-1932), Christopher "Bat" Battalino (1908-1977) and Lillian (Rotondo) Battalino (1910-1999).

Marie grew up in West Hartford and graduated from Hall High School in 1948. On 26 November 1949, she married Cyril Arno Jr., and they later divorced. She then married Allen C. Peichert Sr. (1926-1985), and they had two sons: Allen C. Peichert and Christopher R. Peichert.

Marie served as administrative assistant/office manager for the former Antiquarian & Landmarks Society and retired in 1996. She chaired the Unionville Museum's Docent Committee from 2006-2021. She died on 19 August 2024 in Unionville, Connecticut.
