BiographyFrancis Junius Huntington was born in Suffield, Connecticut on 2 December 1802, the son of Hezekiah Huntington. He was active as a publisher, printer, and bookseller, first in Hartford and later in New York City. He published many schoolbooks, including books on geography and atlases. He died in New York on 5 February 1878.
