BiographyWard Cheney was born in 1899, the son of Charles Cheney II (1866-1942) and Mary Lydia Brainard. He married Frances Pomeroy Davison in 1926. They had two daughters: Alessandra Cheney (1927-1959); and Anne Cheney (b. 1929).
