BiographyEliza Talcott was born 7 November 1795 in West Hartford, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Abigail Pantry Hooker (1770-1854) and Samuel Talcott III (1765-1839). She married Reverend Amzi Francis (b. 1793) of Bridgehampton, Long Island, New York, on 10 May 1824. They had two sons, Roger A. Francis (b. 1826) and Samuel T. Francis (1829-1831). Eliza Talcott Francis died 17 August 1829.
