BiographyMartha Hollister was born 11 February 1798 in Glastonbury, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Elizabeth Wadsworth Hollister and Amos Hollister. Martha Hollister married William Porter Wooley (1794-1882) on 25 February 1816. They had at least one daughter, Martha Wooley (1825 or 1827- 1904), who married Edward Wadsworth (b. 1807).
