BiographyMary Huntley Sigourney was born in 1828, the daughter of Lydia Huntley Sigourney (1791-1865) and Charles Sigourney (1788-1854). She married the Reverend Francis Thayer Russell (1828-1910) in 1855, who was for many years the headmaster of St. Margaret's School in Waterbury, Connecticut. She had at least one son, Huntley Sigourney Russell (1858-1928).
She died in 1889.
