Mary Louise Catlin

Mary Louise Catlin was born in 1857 in Hartford, Connecticut. She studied art in the Hartford area, and she worked as an amateur painter. She was an important donor to the Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford. In 1919, she married Frank Sumner, the president of the Connecticut Bank and Trust Company. She died in Hartford in 1927.
