Eli Baker Francis

Eli Baker Francis was born in Windsor, Connecticut on 21 May 1819. He was the son of William (1795-1840) and Irene Baker Francis. Eli Francis married Harriet Williams of Windsor (or Bolton), Connecticut. He applied for a U.S. patent for a folding table on 6 October 1873; the patent was granted on 24 March 1874.
