Louis NovakAmerican, 1903 - 1983

Louis Novak was born on October 13, 1903, in Zilina, Czechoslovakia. He studied at the Massachusetts School of Art and the School of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. He is best known for his color woodcuts of prominent and important buildings. In 1972, he was living in Waterford, Connecticut. He died in 1983.
