BiographyColonel John Mix of Farmington, Connecticut, was Adjutant of the second regiment of the "Connecticut Line" in the Revolutionary War from 1 June 1778 to 1 January 1781. He served as Quartermaster-General of the State of Connecticut from 1796 to 1814. He died in 1834.
