Willis G. Bradley

Willis G. Bradley was born on 14 April 1859 in New Britain, Connecticut. He was the son of Richard Bradley and Mary Thomas. He served his apprenticeship as a sign maker in New Haven. In 1879, he moved to Hartford and went into business for himself. He owned the X.L.C.R. Sign Works on Kinsley Street. In later years, the business was known as Brad the Sign Painter, on Church Street. He died on 11 July 1916 in Hartford.
