BiographyRoxy Deming was born in 1796, the daughter of John Deming (1769-1800) and Roxy Galpin Deming (1769-1844). Roxy's father and her brother, Horace, were both tinners, and she was a decorator. She married Colonel William Buckley (1797-1878), but she apparently died young, because her husband remarried in 1827.
