Julius J. KremskiAmerican, 1919 - 2018

Julius J. Kremski was born on 12 April 1919 in Collinsville, Connecticut. He was the son of Chester and Izabella (Ulatowski) Kremski. He was raised in Plantsville. In 1941, he joined the U.S. Navy and served in the U.S. Pacific Fleet during World War II. He then graduated from the University of Connecticut and from the University of Connecticut School of Law. He served as Mayor of New Britain from 1960-1962. In 1966, he was appointed Workers' Compensation Commissioner for the Sixth District. In 1977, Julius was appointed a Judge of the Superior Court, retiring in 2014. He married Clara Szubzda, and they had one son, Gregory. He died on 23 October 2018 in New Britain, Connecticut.
