Lewis N. Stieglitz

Lewis N. Stieglitz was born on 27 November 1935 in West Hartford, Connecticut. He attended the University of Connecticut, where he broke every distance record in cross-country running and indoor and outdoor track. He was inducted into the All American cross-country team in 1955 and set the American record in the 10,000 meters in 1960.
