William H. Narwold
William "Bill" H. Narwold is an attorney specializing in corporate accountability and fiduciary responsibility, with a career spanning nearly 40 years. He represents consumers, governmental entities, unions, and institutional investors in complex litigation, including securities fraud, shareholder rights, consumer fraud, unfair trade practices, antitrust violations, and whistleblower/qui tam claims.
Narwold earned his B.A. from Colby College in 1974 and his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1979. He began his legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Warren W. Eginton of the U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut, from 1979 to 1981.
For 25 years, Narwold was with Cummings & Lockwood in Hartford, Connecticut, where he directed corporate, securities, financial, and other complex litigation, serving 10 years as managing partner. Since 2004, he has been with Motley Rice LLC, where he leads the firm's securities and consumer fraud litigation teams and False Claims Act practice. He is also active in the firm's appellate practice, having been involved in over 200 appeals before the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Courts of Appeal, and various state courts.
