Anne C. Dranginis is a lawyer and judge, whose career focuses on public service. She was born in Waterbury, Connecticut and grew up in Goshen. She attended Manhattanville College from 1965 to 1969, majoring in philosophy. During her college years, her political involvement deepened through her work in Robert Kennedy's Senate office in New York City in 1967 and 1968. Dranginis attended UConn Law School. After gaining experience in criminal law and working in both private practice and the public sector, she was appointed as a part-time Assistant State's Attorney in May 1978. Her career progressed to the judiciary, where she served as a judge.
