Reverend Dr. John E. Skoglund

John E. Skoglund was born on 1 April 1912 in San Diego, California. He married Daisy W. Skoglund (1910-2007). They had seven children: Jean Abbe, who married Dr. Robert Abbe (1937-2021); Joy Ernst; Linda Renne; Mary Skoglund, Jeana Skoglund; Gabrielle Mauerman; and John Skoglund.

He was a minister. He attended the University of California, Berkeley; Berkeley Baptist Divinity School; and Yale University. He served as a secretery for the American Baptist Foreign Mission Society.

He died on 1 July 2005 in Oakland, California.
