Mildred A. Strickland

Mildred A. Strickland was the daughter of Julia Kemmerer Strickland and Irvin Eugene Strickland (b. 16 April 1868.) Her parents were married 9 September 1931 in Hartford, Connecticut, and she was an only child. Mildred Strickland's father was a bookkeeper, first for Bliss Dry Goods Store, and later for the National Fire Insurance Company, where he worked for forty years.
