Pinnacle Brands, Inc. was a manufacturing company of trading cards, focused on sports-related items, such as football, baseball, hockey, and motor sports cards. Founded in 1986 under the name Optigraphics, Inc., the company had licenses with several major sports leagues, such as MLB, NFL, NHL, NASCAR, and the WNBA.
In 1996, Pinnacle acquired its former competitor Donruss. After going bankrupt in 1998, its remaining trading card assets were purchased by Playoff, Inc., which is now known as Panini America, Inc.
