Willie Pep

Guglielmo Papaleo, better known by the stage name Willie Pep, was born on 19 September 1922 in Middletown, Connecticut. He was a professional boxer, who held the World Featherweight championship twice between the years of 1942 and 1950. He died on 23 November 2006 in Rocky Hill, Connecticut.
