BiographyArtist and educator Anita Balkun, a teacher at the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts in Hartford, brought her students to view and discuss several CCHAP exhibits over the years, both at the Institute for Community Research and at the Connecticut Historical Society (CHS). They visited the Mas Camp exhibit in several years, as one of Anita’s students was a participant in Mas Camp.
