Sturgis M. Judd

Sturgis Morehouse Judd (6 Feb. 1809 - 13 Sept. 1904) was born in Old Danbury, Conn. (now Bethel, Conn.). He lived until the age of 95. He married Alphia Sturdevant of Brookfield, Conn. They had five children, and of the five three daughters lived to adulthood. He conducted the 9th Census of the United States for the towns of Waterbury and Wolcott. He was the caretaker of the Grand Street Cemetery in Waterbury from 1862-1891. He was the oldest Mason in Connecticut at the time of his death.
