John deKoven Alsop

John Alsop of Avon, Connecticut, graduated from Yale in 1937. He was an insurance executive and a Republican. He served in the stae legislature from 1947-1950 and ran unsuccessfully for Governor twice: 1958 when he was defeated in the rpimary and in 1962 when he lost to the incumbent.
