Rebecca Spooner Green

BiographyBorn Rebecca Spooner on 2 August 1743 to Thomas and Rebecca (Paddack) Spooner. She married Timothy Green on 2 July 1763. Timothy took over the New London Gazette in 1963 and changed the name to the Connecticut Gazette. Rebecca had 11 children, one including Samuel Green, and was the grandmother to Commodore Charles Green and William Poole Green.
