DescriptionSixth-plate daguerreotype of Henry Corlies when he was about one year old, taken by an unknown photographer. Corlies is seen full-length, probably standing on a chair or stool, his left arm resting on a tablecloth-covered round table. He is wearing a dress with an off-the-shoulder neckline, white drawers, white stockings, and dark shoes. He is wearing a necklace. His hair, while still short, is parted on the side and fashioned into a small front wave or pouf.
