InscribedTyped on slip of paper in envelope: "Probably Homer S. Curtiss"NotesConstituent note: The Curtis/Curtiss family's name is spelled with two S's in federal censuses from 1850 and 1860. By 1870, Homer Curtis was spelling his last name with one S, and is spelled with one S on his gravestone.
