DescriptionWorn leather oblong shaped physician bag. Outer leather is dark and has the appearance of crocodile hind with spinal ridges encircling the center of the bag. Bottom of bag is flat with four metal studs at each corner, and one in the center, impressed in middle, "15 / 487". On outer sides of bag, leather is ripped and a straw material emerges from hole. Bag opens horizontally; opening is tarnished metal, covered with thin leather. Two hinges are on either side of lid and a metal bar is at the center that slides sideways in order to open or lock the bag. A rounded leather handle attaches to lid by metal fixtures. Inner protion of bag is a cloth material with pockets on each side.
