DescriptionBlack rubber child's overshoe, with dark green knitted cotton lining in the upper, and a woven brown cotton sock lining. The throatline of the shoe is double-curved, like a heart shape at the top; there are concentric dotted lines reflecting the double curves across the vamp area of the overshoe. The bottom of the overshoe has a tread pattern of a diamond grid.

MarkingsMolded across the bottom of the overshoe in the area of the ball of the foot: "THICK". Molded in the waist of the overshoe bottom, within a shield: "AMAZON / RUBBER CO. / BOSTON". Above this, "216" is pressed into the rubber.
