DescriptionFour miniature tintypes within a cardstock mat, two on each side. Three of them are head and shoulder length portraits of a teenage girl and the fourth is the same of a boy. Pink coloring has been added to the cheeks of the subject in each portrait.

(a) Portrait of Anne Wells Cheney (1849-1944) as a girl or teenager. There is a bow in her hair. She is wearing drop earrings and there is a bow secured at her neck with a circular pin.

(b) Portrait of a boy, possibly one of Anne's brothers, Harry Grant Cheney (1852-1918) or Robert Cheney (1859-1935). He is wearing a white collared shirt under a buttoned jacket.

(c) Portrait of a teenage girl or young woman, probably Anne Wells Cheney (1849-1944). She is wearing a hat or bonnet that is secured under her chin with a large bow.

(d) Portrait of a teenage girl or young woman, probably Anne Wells Cheney (1849-1944). She is wearing drop earrings and a hat that has a feather on it and a bow at the back. There is a bow secured at her neck with a circular pin.
