NotesSubject Note: Plans for the International Wing at Bradley Field began in 1965 and was to be designed by Roy Ferguson of Frid, Ferguson, Mahaffey and Perry Architects. The construction of the International Wing was part of the controversial process of transforming Bradley Field into Bradley International Airport with the hoped-for "International Gateway" status (meaning international flights may begin and end at Bradley). The bid for "Gateway Status" was ultimately a failure. The new wing was completed in 1970.
